APPEAL FORM AND FILING GUIDELINES

To contest a ticket for Appeals Board consideration, use this fill-in form to file an appeal within 5 business days from receipt of the ticket. The Appeals Board will review the appeal, vote by majority rule, and email results to the appellant within 10 business days. In the interim, the appellant remains liable for the fine, which may necessitate prepaying the fine to remove an account hold. Once the results process, the payment will either stand or reverse within 5 business days.

Appeal Results Codes

  • Waived (W): The ruling favors the appellant and the payment liability shall reverse within 5 business days.

  • Waive Listed (WL): The ruling grants a one-time waiver as a warning on a first offense for ‘no permit visible’ or ‘permit expired’ (not both), and payment liability shall reverse within 5 business days.

  • Valid (V): The appeal is denied and fine is payable within 5 business days. A re-appeal will be considered only if the appellant submits new information relevant to the original appeal within 5 business days from denial.
